My Memoir
(selections)
Not a version of my “Memoirs,” this section is inspired by a fabulous online writing course (Memoir Writing, Ink) by Alison Wearing. https://www.alisonwearing.com/memoir-writing-ink
According to Alison,
Memoir is—
—a thoughtful, profound tool highly productive for processing life events and everyday emotions that’s different from journaling, and (thankfully) not bound by dates and time periods or chronological order.
The writing of Memoir (as I am discovering) can help a writer express nesting stories that tie back to a single column or theme/message.
Memoir segments—whether few or many—can become a collection. And there are no limits to the amount of collections one can write! I highly recommend it for writers, especially, but anyone working on knowing themselves and discovering how to grow from within can utilize it. I (unknowingly) have used this method in my writing before and since taking her online course. Not journaling, but rather story-telling—your own story.
Memoir written from the pool of life lessons brought forth graciously by personal life lessons, The WisdomTeachers, The Storytellers, My Friend—in Life and the Afterlife, and the KeyMails from Spirit.
