My Poetry
This sampling of my poetry was written from middle school through the present. My collection of poems varies from very short (Haiku) to longer pieces. I have divided it into several sections, outlining significant periods or realizations during my life journey.
The Rainbirds poem, contained in its entirety, is accompanied by my commentary on its meaning. The term and reference to "Rainbirds" is a theme some of The WisdomTeachers have used in their communications through me.
The Kaleidoscope Eyes poem ties in with the concept of Divine-ing, another term used by The WisdomTeachers and Kem (My Friend in Life—and the Afterlife). Although I wrote no commentary, many references were made to what I have coined as 'Kali I's' point to our Kali Eyes—what they term the "shards" of our life. The pieces, almost mosaic-like, are pieces of our true Self. Recognizing them takes some practice (refer to the website header Section "Intuiting You.")
Life, Beyond Compare (in the poetry section Being Alive) was written in October 2023.
The picture of the girl in the "My Wonder Years" section is my mother at age three. She died when she was 100 and 1/2 years old. I must say, I believe all the years of her life were 'Wonder' years and Wonderful to her—a woman who loved life with vigor, gratitude, and grace!
